 मारुफनगर एक छोटा सा  कस्बा,जहाँ रहते  थे दो भाई जिनमे छोटे  का नाम कृपालु और बड़े का नाम नयनसुख था,दोनों की उम्र में केवल दो साल का अंतर था, बचपन  में पिता अज्ञात बिमारी से चल बसे जो एक प्राथमिक पाठशाला के शिक्षक थेI माता मुन्नी देवी भी एक प्राइवेट स्कूल में पढ़ाती थीIउन्ही की कमाई  से कृपालु एवं नयनसुख कष्टों का सामना करते पढ़ने लगेIकृपालु बड़ा ही शांत एवं अंतर्मुखी था,तथा माँ  की मजबूरियों को समझता हुआ अपनी माँ के कामों में हाथ बटाता था I नयनसुख मेधावी पर चंचल थाI एक दिन क़स्बे में एक खेल  प्रतियोगिता हुई ,जिसमे कृपालु एवं नयनसुख दोनों ने भाग लिया ,नयनसुख ने खेल की कई प्रतियोगिताओं में उतकृस्ट प्रदर्शन  किया, जबकि कृपालु का प्रदर्शन हमेशा की तरह सामान्य रहा I माँ ने नयनसुख की  प्रतिभा को देखते हुए उसे पढ़ाने हेतु एक टीचर रख दिया जो घर पर आकर टयूसन देता था,कृपालु भी उससे पढ़ने लगाI उनके पड़ोस में उनका मित्र जुगल किशोर रहता था ,जो नयनसुख की कक्षा में पढ़ता था तथा उसका छोटा भाई रामकिशोर कृपालु की कक्षा में Iपढ़ने में वे दोनों सामान्य थे तथा सुखी सम्पन्न घर के होने के कारण सभी प्रकार की भौतिक सुविधाओं से परिपूर्ण थेIपड़ोसी होने के कारण उन बच्चों का आपस में गहरा सबंध था I उनके माता पिता भी आपस में घुले मिले थेI हमारे देश में दसवीं की बोर्ड की परीक्षाओं का अत्यंत महत्व रहा है, नयनसुख एवं जुगल किशोर ने एक साथ बोर्ड की परीक्षाएं दी.Iकुछ ही दिनों बाद परीक्षाफल प्रकाशित हुआ,जुगलकिशोर तो प्रथम श्रेणी में उतीर्ण हुआ जबकि नयनसुख अनुतीर्ण घोषित किया गया,यह देखकर नयनसुख की माँ को गहरा सदमा लगा Iएक तो अभाव में बच्चों को पढ़ाना तथा होनहार बच्चे का निराशाजनक प्रदर्शन! लेकिन नयनसुख था जो इन सब में कुछ अनहोनी की ओर बार बार इशारा कर रहा थाI लेकिन  उसकी कोई सुन नहीं रहा था I उसी स्कूल के एक शिक्षक,जिसने नयनसुख को पढ़ाया था,उन्हें यह जानकर ताजुब हुआ कि,नयनसुख फेल हो गया,उन्होंने नयनसुख कि माँ मुन्नी देवी को समझाया कि आपके पुत्र का कहना बिलकुल सही है,उसके साथ कोई धोखा हुआ हैIकुछ ही दिनों बाद यह बात सामने आयी कि उस विद्यालय के शराबी प्रधानाचार्य ने कुछ मेधावी बच्चों की  उत्तर पुस्तिका  को सामान्य बच्चों की उत्तर पुस्तिका से परिवर्तित कर दिया,यह बात बाद में किसी अन्य छात्र की उत्तर पुस्तिका के मूल्यांकन के समय सामने आयी Iखैर होनी  तो हो चुकी थी,परीक्षाफल में परिवर्तन के लिए बार-बार बोर्ड आफिस के चक्कर लगाना,मुन्नी देवी के लिए संभव ना था ,उन्होंने नयनसुख को दोबारा १० वी की  बोर्ड की परीक्षा दिलाना उचित समझा और नयनसुख एक साल बाद अव्वल अंको के साथ उतीर्ण हुआ Iलेकिन असफलता  कि एक टीस उसके मन में गहराई तक समा गयी I हो भी क्यों न ? साथ का जुगल किशोर आगे जो जा चुका था Iछोटा भाई कृपालु ८ वी  कक्षा के बाद फ़ौज में भर्ती हो गया......क्रमशः 

Corruption resides in our Mind

Now a days,there is a deep concern regarding the corruption.Peoples are talking about the recent scams.But one thing we forget that this is related with Moral aspect of our life.Civil society is facing this in step to step but we have to change the direction of our thoughts.To allege anyone we have to see ourself ,that how transparent we are!
There is a small example :A child is asking with his father that."Daddy if i will do this what you will give me.In larger aspect the same thing will be repeated in any other part of our daily life,then this is known as "Bribe".
This is common concept that when higher authorities are promoting this then how can we? In small classes the teacher teaches us "Honesty is the best policy",but the same when accepting gifts from their students and giving higher marks in practical,then how student accept it as a best policy.
A student is doing hard work and as much competitive but when show the result that a least deserving candidate is on the upper-side of ranking by applying tricks  then his frustration is normal.Slowly his concept will changed about the Honesty.Supreme court's recent comment to government that why you not legalized it and fix a charge for doing work in govt offices shows the harassment of the Judiciary.Because the accused are not brought  to justice due to loop holes in judiciary.Many times author also felt in his  life.I have seen that our political system is totally dam corrupt.Because the political parties need funds to expend it in election.So they are forced to collect it from the concerned.So if we really want to reform it,then Moral fear is essential and this only happen through the tough law.
